6101 Sand Point Road, Lac La Belle.
Single unit at the end of the road surrounded by water and woods, which is easily accessible by car, ATV, truck, RV or motorcycle OR by boat. (Almost) NO neighbors in sight.
Ask about dock space a for your boat on my Charter Boat dock.
Full kitchen for cooking and baking, washer, dryer, linens provided, and a cozy propane fireplace for the cool evenings.
Two bedrooms. Sleeps 5. Bedroom 1: a double bed, Bedroom 2: a double bed and a single bed.
Lots of windows offer a great view in any direction. Sliding screen doors open to outdoor patios. Perfect peninsula location to watch the sunrise, sunset and moon rise. Adirondack chairs, lawn swing and a fire pit for those evening s’mores. Good swimming, sandy bottom. Fish for perch, bass and pike from the shore or dock. Charcoal grill for that tasty fish dinner.
Minutes away from Lake Superior, Bete Gris sandy swimming beach, Mount Bohemia, Delaware Mine, Bete Gris Nature Preserve, ATV/Snowmobile trails. Beautiful 16 mile drive to Copper Harbor, 30 miles to Calumet, 42 miles to Houghton/Hancock.
Full week minimum during summer months normally from Saturday to Saturday.
I have my fishing charter based out of this property, so my boat is kept here, and I will come and go, sometimes twice a day on a busy summer day. Quiet departure in the morning. Feel free to visit and watch us clean fish and when we return.
Boat and kayaks available for extra fee. Please request them before your stay so we can get them on site for you.

Summary: This was our second time starting at the keystone! The views from the yard are so stunning! We had a bit of trouble getting the little gas stove lit, but I sent a message asking for help and the property manager had someone stop by and help right away! Everything is clean and cute.

Summary: This property was perfect for us. Located at tip of Sand Point w great spot to easily launch directly into Lake Superior and Lac Labelle. It is secluded and quiet, well equipped, and clean as a whistle. We spent 10 days here sleeping in comfy beds w plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and great shower. Easy access to both Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor for more paddling, fine dining, and enjoying the fabulous Keweenaw Peninsula, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Seriously! We would definitely rent this VRBO again and highly recommend it even if you dont wish to paddle every day!

Summary: The cottage is perfectly situated on a point jutting into the quiet, secluded end of the beautiful lake. The interior finishes are modern with many windows to provide a breeze at all times keeping that cottage charm. We took our kayaks out almost every day to enjoy the majesty of the many eagles that soar in to perch on the tall pines along the shoreline. A short paddle through the channel will take you out to Lake Superior and the rugged shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula north and east of the Bete Grise Beach. The wooded shoreline must remain as the early explorers discovered it centuries past. The hosts are friendly and the cottage is a business that runs efficiently and professionally with the warmth of a relative or family friend. All needs of the guests are provided and the kitchen is stocked with the implements required for preparation of all common American foods. There is a charter fishing business operated by the owner from the dock. This may cause apprehension to some but we assure you that operations never intrude on the guest. We are early risers and many days when I knew the Captain was preparing to leave I never heard the boat depart or return. We started one morning determined to wave as they departed but we went inside to refill our coffee cups and returned to find the boat had silently slipped away yet again! This cottage is the perfect location to spend a quiet and romantic retreat but could also provide an unforgettable adventure for a family!

Summary: Terrific location, quiet and relaxing property right on the water. Perfect for a group for fishing or just enjoying the lake. Host was helpful and had great communication. The cabin was clean and had everything our family needed for a great vacation. Definitely looking forward to visiting it again next year
